If you've bought or sold with us, you can borrow ladders, pressure washers, drills, shop vacs, yard equipment, and moving gear whenever you need them, for as long as you own your home. Sign in to the HomeCare Client Portal, pick what you need and when, grab it, bring it back when you're done. That's the whole process, start to finish.

Who Can Use It

There's one requirement: you've bought or sold a home through Holzl Homes. That's it. No expiration date attached. Clients whose deal closed years ago still have full access. We call that group our Forever Clients, and they get treated exactly like someone who closed last month.

If you haven't worked with us yet and you're in the Fox Valley area or nearby, the Tool Shed isn't available to you yet, but it's a pretty good example of what changes once you do.

Do I need to be a current client?

Not in the sense of currently mid-transaction. You need to have bought or sold with us at some point. Could be last month, could be eight years ago. Forever Clients get the same access as anyone else.

What if I already own a home but didn't buy it through you?

Then the Tool Shed isn't open to you yet. If you're thinking about buying or selling in the Fox Valley area, reach out and we'll talk about what that would look like.

How long can I keep something I borrow?

You choose your dates when you reserve it. Each item shows its own booking window in the HomeCare Client Portal, so you will see it before you confirm.

What happens if something breaks or goes missing while I have it?

Just tell us through the HomeCare Client Portal. We'd rather handle it directly than bury you in rental-company fine print.

Is this only useful in the fall?

No, though that's when ladders and pressure washers get the most use. The whole inventory, moving gear included, is there year-round.
